Syllables
Haiku's
The instructor will write several haiku's on the white board, English and Chinese.
A fish slowly swims
Happily going nowhere
against the current
Curving up, then down.
Meeting Blue sky and earth.
Melding sun and rain.
The instructor will discuss the concept of a Haiku, and the importance of the number of syllables. The teacher will then hand out Lesson 3 from Empowering the Learner 2, and the students will do the assignment on syllables.
Students will then write their own Haiku's.
