Day 49 Numeracy/Life Long Learning (percentages game)

Sales Price Game

Students will be broken up into three teams. All teams will be given an equal amount of monopoly money. The premise of the game is as follow:

1. The exact same object is on sale at four different locations, each having it's own price and sales percent discount.
2. Students will be given four different prices and percentages off, and they will be given 2 minutes to select which one has the lowest sales price.
3. When each member has selected the store they wish to purchase their item at, the actual retail price will be figured out for each item.
4. Each team will pay for the item that they chose.
5. The team with the most money at the end of the game wins.
