Students will be given Activity 35 from I am Already Successful: Cooperation to work on as a class. As a class we will define cooperation and give several examples. students will also list characteristics of cooperative and uncooperative people. Students will also define the term Co-op and give some examples. They will then define corporation and say how it is different from a co-op.
Our Definitions
- Cooperation: Cooperation is everyone working together to reach a common goal.
- Co-op: A co-op is a business or enterprise owned and run by its employees and/or customers.
- Corporation: A corporation is a large business that is traded on the stock market and is owned by share holders. The person with the most shares has control of the company.
- Characteristics of a cooperative person: friendly, generous, polite, understanding, willing, modest
- Characteristics of an uncooperative person: lazy, rude, sarcastic, self-centred, selfish
